Changes
I am not the one I was before yesterday. I cannot go back. I am not the one I will be tomorrow. I can not see that far ahead. I am who I am now, today. The person I see in the mirrorchanging so subtly, but changing,becoming a new personminute by minuteday by day. The possibilities are endless, but I must choose which way I will change,each decision I make changes me in some way,positively or negatively. Let me open myself to good changes,to positive steps, happy feelings. In saying that, I do believe all the poems are conveying a rich network of meaning, some of them painfully close bond between pleasure and destruction. They should appeal to the senses and create images in our minds, for poetry is just that kind of language that most complexly and effectively qualifies.
